This week, two teasers!
First up, The City & The City by China Mieville.

Next, In Great Waters by Kit Whitfield.
“Henry could remember his own birth. Crushing pressure, heat, and then the contact with the sea, terrifyingly cold — but at the same time a release from constriction, the instant freedom of the skin.” (page 3)

I agree with Joy – remembering your own birth might be intensely traumatic. And I’ve been meaning to read The City & The City – hope it’s keeping you entertained! Nice teasers.
