Library LootOnly one book this week — We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. I’m looking forward to it and it promises to be a good read.

I still have 3 books on hold. In fact, these books have been on hold for a LONG time. I’ve been patiently waiting but now I keep adding books to my que just to see what will come through for me. I feel like I’m playing the lotto with the library right now.

Here’s what I am hoping to get, sometime in the next year I guess.

Cleopatra’s Daughter by Michelle Moran

The Killing Way by Tony Hays

The Magicians by Lev Grossman

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett

Maybe next week…maybe next year…

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

  1. Sometimes it is so frustrating to be waiting for books that just don’t seem to come in!

  2. I LOVED We Have Always Lived in the Castle!

I totally sympathise w/ being on hold forever. I think one of the books I’m on hold for has actually been lost, since I’ve been #1 for at least a month now (and our checkout time is 3 wks-you can’t renew if there’s holds).
